The use of orthokeratology to treat myopia regression after small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) surgery was the subject of a winning poster in the Optometry Student Challenge program designed by ABB Optical Group in collaboration with Paragon Vision Sciences.
Winning optometry student Shuyi Chen of SUNY College of Optometry presented “Enhance Your SMILE with Orthokeratology: A Case Report on the Use of Orthokeratology to Treat Myopia Regression after SMILE Surgery.” It was one of three winning posters presented at the 2020 Global Specialty Lens Symposium in Las Vegas last month.
