Topcon Healthcare will host the eyeRISE (Eye Research Innovation Symposia & Expo) two-day virtual symposia and expo, February 9-10. The multidisciplinary virtual congress will showcase the latest innovations in eye care in three solutions-focused tracks, and myopia management will be among the topics discussed within the “Entering New Markets” section.
The “Myopia Management – Putting Theory into Practice” solutions-focused symposium will cover breaking down the barriers to implementing myopia management in your clinical practice. Offered in partnership with CooperVision, this symposium will be moderated by Professor Ian Flitcroft, MD, and presented by Gary Gerber, OD; Maria Liu, MD, OD, PhD; and CooperVision’s Justin Kwan, OD, and Leah Johnson, OD. These global thought leaders in myopia management will tackle the frequently raised barriers and provide a stepped approach for overcoming them. From this program you will gain a strong understanding as to what is achievable, realistic treatment options, and how to make myopia management successful within your clinic as the acceptable standard of care changes.
The workshop on “How to Drive Revenue by Incorporating Myopia Management and Dry Eye into Your Clinic” will investigate the key considerations when providing new clinical services such as these into an established clinic. The goal of the workshop is to provide solutions to the real-world challenges when breaking into new markets. Discussions will cover driving revenue with new technologies, best practices, and promoting clinical services to your patients. This workshop will be moderated by Catharine Chisholm, OD, PhD, and presented by Edward Farrant, OD; Sarah Farrant, OD; and Nicholas Rumney, OD.
