STERLING, Va. — Euclid Vision Corporation and Visionary Optics will be awarding six optometry students with scholarships for innovations in myopia management and specialty contact lenses.

The Euclid 2023-2024 Resident Scholarships include the Tim Koch Memorial Scholarship ($1,000), the George E. Glady Scholarship ($1,000), and the Joann Simonsen Scholarship ($1,000).

Euclid created its annual Resident Scholarship Program to encourage innovation and honor optometric residents who reflect the company’s enduring commitment to proactive myopia management,” said Jackson Lau, OD, FAAO, FSLS, Euclid’s senior manager of professional relations.

Visionary Optics is also offering three $1,000 scholarships. Johns, OD, FAAO, FSLS, FBCLA, Visionary Optics’ director of clinical and scientific affairs.
