VTI Announces Changes to Commercial Team

ATLANTA — Visioneering Technologies Inc. (VTI) has made changes to its commercial personnel team. The following are the promotions the company has announced:

 

Brian Lane has been named Chief Operating Officer in addition to his current role as CFO. Lane has an extensive track record of strong financial results as CFO of a private equity-backed company and CAO of multiple public companies.  After receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Georgia, Lane spent 11 years with Ernst and Young, which served as a strong foundation to enable him to excel in his roles.  
 
Mike Tilleli has been named National Sales Director. Mike has been part of VTI’s commercial organization since 2016. Tilleli is now leading the VTI Sales Team for both the U.S. and Canadian markets. In addition to this new leadership role, he will continue to serve the New York City territory. Tilleli has over 40 years in the optical industry, holding management roles in leading companies such as CooperVision and CIBA Vision. “I am thrilled at this new growth opportunity within VTI. I am so excited to play a key role for VTI in delivering products that can make an impact with patients and practices,” said Tilleli. 
 
Layna Mendlinger has been promoted to Global Head of Marketing. This leadership role encompasses all marketing and commercial efforts in the U.S. and abroad, as well as the management of all international distributor relationships. Mendlinger has been with VTI since 2013 and was integral to the launch of the NaturalVue family of products. With over 30 years of marketing experience, Mendlinger has held several key roles within CIBA Vision, where she launched  O2Optix (now AirOptix) and Night & Day contact lenses. “The opportunity that I have had with VTI to go from a start-up (pre-product) to this young company growth stage in 11 markets has been the most enriching part of my career thus far. It has been so thrilling to see how much the NaturalVue Multifocal technology can benefit so many people, from children to presbyopes,” Mendlinger said. 
 
Lynne Meyer has been named Strategic Account Director. She will be working to build strong partnerships with strategic optometric accounts to mutually advance collaborative goals and build revenue. In addition to this role, Meyer will continue to manage accounts across the Southeast.  With over 35 years of industry experience, she has held several positions in sales, sales management, and strategic account management over her career at notable companies, including CIBA Vision, Alcon, and VTI.  Said Meyer, “I am very passionate about bringing this innovative lens design to optometrists and their patients. NaturalVue greatly improves patient outcomes and creates improved patient retention and practice revenues.” 

 

Pam Pritchard has been promoted to Executive Director of Sales Operations. She will provide data, analytics, and insights in alignment with VTI’s business strategies. Pritchard has 35 years of experience in the vision care industry with CIBA Vision, Alcon, and VTI. During her career, she has held a variety of roles in sales, customer marketing, strategic account management, and sales operations. “VTI focuses on providing products and resources that will positively affect patients’ lives. I am excited to continue working with our highly experienced and passionate team,” Pritchard said. 
 
JP Rechach has been named Inside Sales Manager, reporting to Pam Pritchard. He will manage the expanded Inside Sales team with two new Market Managers, Sydney Higginbotham and Parker Bergsagel. Rechach has over 12 years of experience in sales and customer service, with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
