RMM’s Chief Medical Editor Dwight Akerman Featured on The Myopia Podcast

KIRKLAND, Wash. — Review of Myopia Management’s Chief Medical Editor Dwight Akerman, OD, MBA, FAAO, FBCLA, will be featured on an upcoming episode of The Myopia Podcast, hosted by David Kading, OD. Dr. Akerman will be featured on this week’s episode, which will be released on Wednesday, August 4. Among several myopia-related topics, the pair will discuss business models of successful myopia management practices.

The Myopia Podcast is produced by Optometric Insights Media (OIM), which got its start eight years ago creating clinical videos for eye care industry partners. The organization then expanded with the Optometric Insights (OI) Show, which is co-hosted by Dr. Kading and Mile Brujic, OD, and the two share their knowledge across a broad range of eye care topics. The Myopia Podcast launched in July 2021 and combines clinical insights, research perspectives, and industry solutions into meaningful concepts that can change myopia worldwide.

On August 31, The Myopia Podcast will host a free webinar: Implementing Myopia Management into Practice. In this one-hour course, attendees will learn how to communicate with parents, what products to use, marketing strategies, and the best methods for team training.
