The new guide, Managing Myopia: A Clinical Response to the Growing Epidemic, aims to improve on the fact that only five percent of eye care practitioners worldwide are actually engaged in myopia management.
AOA President-Elect Robert Layman, OD, and Johnson & Johnson Vision’s Noel Brennan, BOptom, MScOptom, PhD, FAAO, spoke with Review of Myopia Management’s John Sailer about their organizations’ involvement in creating this new guide along with the American Academy of Optometry, the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry, and the Singapore Optometric Association.
