Hannah Yecheskel Neubauer, OD, has been in the field for more than 20 years and was named one of the top 100 optometrists nationally by Newsweek magazine. When she needed to slow the progression of her daughter’s own myopia, she prescribed MiSight 1 day contact lenses “because of the studies that were done, and it had the backing of FDA approval,” she said. In fact, her daughter was the first patient in the practice to use the FDA-approved soft contact lenses for slowing the progression of myopia in children aged 8 to 12 at the initiation of treatment.
