Dr. Arthur Cummings Named Board Chairman at Ocumetra

DUBLIN — Dr. Arthur Cummings has officially been named to Ocumetra’s Board of Directors as Chairman. Dr. Cummings is a distinguished cataract and refractive surgeon who brings over three decades of expertise in leadership, clinical practice, patient care, and clinical research to the Ocumetra team.

Dr. Cummings is internationally recognized for his contributions to eye health, specifically to refractive and cataract surgery. Throughout his career, he has held multiple leadership roles, including positions on Medical Advisory Boards, editorial boards, and governance bodies. He has received multiple international awards from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, to name a few. Notably, his commitment to advancing clinical practices aligns seamlessly with Ocumetra’s mission to provide better eye health to all children globally.
