Visioneering Technologies is launching a new website as part of a rebranding campaign aimed at sharpening its connection with independent eye care professionals.
The company’s revamped website, VTIVision.com, aims to give ECPs access to the most relevant information about its main product, NaturalVue Multifocal 1 day contact lenses, along with the most useful resources those ECPs might need.
“We wanted to have all of our educational material in one place along with product information and fitting tools for ECPs,” says Tony Sommer, VTI’s senior vice president of global sales and marketing. “That’s why we did the website the way we did.”
Sommer says many ECPs don’t realize how VTI has grown since its 2016 U.S. launch, and so the company wants to introduce itself again to its target market. The campaign is dubbed “Redefining Vision.”
The NaturalVue lens does have the indication for myopia progression control in other countries. The lens is widely prescribed for treating presbyopia.
On the website ECPs will find NaturalVue product information, fitting tools such as its “Quickstart Calculator” and educational content such as webinars, articles and videos.
VTI is launching a global website later this summer. The “Shared Vision” section of the website represents “a collaborative resource for eye care education featuring some of the industry’s leading clinicians and researchers covering information relevant to practicing in today’s environment.”
Sommer says the company has realized that “ECPs don’t want to be talked at. They want to have somebody walk along with them in building their practice. They need resources and technology and ideas to help them meet their goals.”
